1. Description of the service

Hotel Express offers corporate customers (hereinafter referred to as the customer) discounts in hotel rooms with up to 50% on selected hotels (hereinafter referred to as “partner hotels”) in Sweden and abroad. Hotel Express also offers hotel booking service and conference booking.


2. Membership and registration

To become a Hotel Express user you must be 18 years of age and have a valid social security number.

Membership can be subscribed by a private person or company but is always personal and cannot be transferred. When signing up for membership through a company, the company owns the value document. Membership may be used both in the service and in private.

The service is concluded by agreement and applies until further notice, with automatic renewal annually (see paragraph 8). The Hotel Express service is linked to a person and the discount can not be used by any person other than the one stated on the Hotel Express certificate. However, more people than the customer are allowed to take part in the stay at the partner hotel. For more information, see section 6 – Booking and stay.


4. Satisfaction Guarantee

Our Satisfied Customer Guarantee gives new customers the right to cancel the service within 3 months, terminate the service and return the Hotel Express certificate and get the money back. The customer relies on the customer satisfaction guarantee by contacting Hotel Express customer service on +46 (0) 19-16 60 60 or The Satisfied Customer Guarantee does not mean the possibility of postponing payment responsibility according to invoice.


5. Prices and discounts

Hotel Express offers fixed prices with discounts of up to 50% on regular room rates at selected partner hotels. The discount cannot be combined with other offers and benefits, such as the partner hotel’s weekend, summer rates or loyalty offers. The discount is calculated on the regular room price and thus not on the daily price. This means that the discount can be up to 50% compared to the daily price. As the discount is given by the partner hotel and not by Hotel Express, Hotel Express cannot guarantee prices or the discount given to the customer.

Hotel Express also offers hotel chain deals with discount on daily rate.

Hotel Express discount is valid all days of the week, year round, under the conditions given under item 6 – Booking and stay.


6. Booking and stay

Hotel Express is a service linked to the person on the Hotel Express certificate. The service includes booking of rooms to a member, as well as people staying in the same room as the member. Hotel Express does not book a membership fee for non-members.

Hotel Express is based on the expected vacancy of the partner hotel at the last minute. When a partner hotel expects to have available rooms, the customer is offered a discount of up to 50% on the hotel room’s regular room rate if booking is made the day before or the same day as the stay. Hotel chain deals and when booking abroad, free booking time applies. If the partner hotel expects full capacity, the partner hotel has the right to refrain from giving the Hotel Express discount. However, the partner hotel can offer the Hotel Express customer a room at a daily rate. Hotel Express also has agreements with several hotel chains that provide a percentage discount regardless of when the booking is made.

Booking of hotel rooms at a partner hotel can be done by the customer on their own or via Hotel Express booking service.

Book yourself: The customer can book a hotel room directly through the hotel. At the beginning of the conversation with the partner hotel, the customer must mention that the Hotel Express discount is desired in order for the partner hotel to have the opportunity to examine the expected available capacity that governs whether the discount can be given. The partner hotel is entitled to refuse a discount if the customer has not mentioned Hotel Express when booking.

When checking in at the partner hotel, a valid Hotel Express certificate must be presented. Identification may also be required by the partner hotel. Payment of the hotel room is made according to the partner hotel’s credit and payment procedures. If there is a No Show, the partner hotel, or Hotel Express, has the right to charge the entire cost further along with an administrative fee of SEK 100. If canceled or re-booked, Hotel Express has the right to charge a fee of 75 SEK.

Hotel Express service also includes conference booking within Sweden. Hotel Express is seen as the mediator of the conference and the hotel as the provider of the conference. When booking a conference via Hotel Express, the hotel’s booking conditions apply.

Hotel Express cannot be held responsible for any transactions between the partner hotel and the member. The customer is always responsible for checking whether the customer’s booking is in accordance with the order.

If the customer has complains on the stay, the customer should first convey this to the hotel. If the complaints relate to what is linked to the service provided by Hotel Express, the customer must notify Hotel Express within two days of staying in Sweden and seven days of staying outside Sweden.


7. Payment, delivery and right of return

Payment of the Hotel Express service shall be made after delivery of the Hotel Express certificate within the time specified by Hotel Express (normally 20 days). Hotel Express has the right to charge an invoice for paper invoices. There is no invoice fee for invoice via e-mail, or for payment by credit or debit card. Furthermore, Hotel Express is entitled to charge a reminder fee with a rate of 24% on late payment, as well as other costs related to the late payment. In the event of discrepancies regarding the delivery of Hotel Express certificate, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify Hotel Express of these discrepancies within eight days.

Hotel Express does not offer the right of return for corporate customers, except that such right is granted by Hotel Express in issued guarantees. Private customers own the right of return according to the distance contract law. If the right to return is used as above, the received certificate must be sent to Hotel Express, Väståstrand 5, 702 32 Örebro, together with a listing on the reason for the return and who on Hotel Express approved it.


8. Termination

Cancellation of the Hotel Express service must be made no later than the last working day of the month prior to the valid thru on the Hotel Express certificate. (Example: If it is 2020-05 as a valid thru on a membership card, the membership must be terminated before 2020-04-30.) If the customer terminates the service after this date, the customer will be billed for another year. Non-payment is not valid as a cancellation. If the customer has failed to terminate the service, there is the possibility to transfer the service to another person. The customer may then apply for a transfer of service / name change. This is done by contacting Hotel Express customer service on +46 (0) 19-16 60 60 or

Another possibility is that the customer chooses to pause the paid service for the next 12 months. The customer will then send the Hotel Express certificate back to Hotel Express. The service is reactivated after 12 months have elapsed, or earlier if desired and the customer can re-use Hotel Express service for 12 months.


9. Force Majeure

Hotel Express is not liable for damage caused by government decisions, subcontractor errors or limitations in supply, war, strike, rebellion, riot, fire or other similar event that is beyond Hotel Express control and whose remedy could only be done at an abnormally high cost.


10. Personal information

In order to fulfill the general terms and conditions of membership of Hotel Express, your personal information will be processed.

The Customer grants Hotel Express the right to use, store or otherwise process personal data such as name, social security number, address or other information that can be attributed to the customer, in order for Hotel Express to provide services and products available in the Hotel Express range.

Hotel Express reserves the right to use the customer’s personal data to communicate personalized information with both personal and general benefits and membership offers. The customer also receives customized news, inspiration, invitations to competitions and events and surveys. The customer can always choose to refuse similar information in the future via our e-mail messages.

Hotel Express usually communicate with you via e-mail newsletter, text messages or postal. Sometimes also via advertising on external websites such as Facebook. If you do not want to receive targeted communication from us, you can send an e-mail to and tell us.

Hotel Express may disclose personal information to consultants and other business partners such as Hotel Express considers it necessary to be able to administer and maintain the services offered or if Hotel Express is required to disclose such information by law. If the situation is deemed to be required, Hotel Express will enter into personal data access agreements with these partners.

Hotel Express will primarily collect information directly from you but to update your address information we will check your information against public records. Your information – such as name, e-mail address, address, telephone number and person / organization number – is securely stored in our order system, and stored there for up to a maximum of five years after the last completed order / order. This is to be able to fulfill future orders as smoothly as possible and answer any questions regarding previous orders.

11. Change of membership terms

Hotel Express reserves the right to change our terms and conditions at any time. Updated terms and conditions come into force when they are published on where the latest terms are always available. If the changes are of significant importance, you will be informed well in advance of the changes taking effect and we will also explain the meaning of the changes.


12. Other matters

Hotel Express has the right to continuously change content and pricing in the service without the customer’s consent. Examples of such changes are the addition and removal of individual hotels, hotel chains and benefits.
